US President Donald Trump has invited Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to join the US-led Gaza ‘Board of Peace’.
If accepted, Australia’s Prime Minister will join the new body of world leaders with a three-year term, which will oversee the next steps in Gaza.
A $1.5 billion cash contribution will be required to stay as part of the Board of Peace beyond the set term.
