A Canadian teenager has been identified after her body was discovered surrounded by a pack of dingoes on K’gari Island.
Piper James was on holiday with a friend before she was found dead.
Two people driving on the beach found the 19-year-old girl with significant wounds just after 6am on Monday.
Rangers have increased dingo patrols around the island.
Traditional owners claim the state government has ignored decades of warnings.
