Ross Cadell ‘prepared to resign’ after crossing the floor in parliament over hate crime laws

Shadow Fisheries and Forestry Minister Ross Cadell says he is “willing to resign” after crossing the floor in parliament over the Liberal Party’s stance on the hate crime laws.
“I would love to stay on in this portfolio,” Mr Cadell told Sky News Australia.
“I am willing to resign; I have prepared to resign.
“I think there’s a leadership group that I’m not a part of.
“This was done solemnly for the right reasons, and I will wear the consequences for that.”
