Danish politician boldly tells Trump to ‘f*** off’ as pursuit of Greenland raises tensions

A Danish lawmaker has been scolded after boldly declaring that US President Donald Trump “f*** off” in his pursuit to acquire Greenland.
European Parliament Member Anders Vistisen’s remarks came during a speech to the European Union’s legislative body on January 13.
“Dear President Trump, listen very carefully. Greenland has been part of the Danish kingdom for 800 years. It is an integrated country. It is not for sale,” Vistisen said.
“Let me put this in words you might understand: Mr President, f**k off.”
Following Vistisen’s profane remark, Nicolae Ștefănuță, Vice President of Parliament, threatened the Danish lawmaker with consequences.
“If the translation was correct, the term you used is not allowed in this house, and there will be consequences to the message you have used. It is not okay in this house of democracy,” Ștefănuță responded.
