Trump ‘spooked’ EU leaders into making them ‘jump’ and reach a framework Greenland deal

Sky News Washington analyst Annelise Nielsen discusses US President Donald Trump’s announcement today of a framework deal being reached over Greenland and the reversal of tariffs on some European countries.
“I think the Trump strategy is that he wanted to make them jump and they jumped,” she said.
“When they saw that there were military personnel being moved into Greenland when he made that threat, he knew that he’d spooked them, and this is how he opens negotiations.”
