Residents held hostage in their homes by feral camels in the Northern Territory

Residents in a remote Northern Territory community say they’re effectively trapped in their homes as feral camels tear through the town.
At least 11 houses have been left without water after the animals smashed fences and ripped taps and air-conditioning units from walls.
Authorities estimate more than one million camels are now roaming the desert, driven into communities in search of water.
