Autopsy reveals dingo bites on Canadian teen before K’gari death

A preliminary finding by the coroner reveals Canadian teenager Piper James had been bitten by dingoes before her death.
Although dingo bites were present, the Queensland Coroners Court believes the 19-year-old most likely drowned.
Ms James’ body was found earlier this month on K’gari, surrounded by dingoes.
The coroner is awaiting pathology results to further determine the cause of death.
