Anti-ICE protests evocative of ‘worst moments in American history’

Newsweek Senior Editor-At-Large Josh Hammer says the anti-ICE protests are “evocative of the worst moments in American history”.
“Last I checked, it wasn’t the job of law enforcement to de-escalate or back down,” Mr Hammer told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“It is the job of the law enforcement to, oh wait, yes, to enforce the law … the day that federal law enforcement stops enforcing federal law, federal law ceases to be taken seriously.”
