‘The View’ co-hosts exposed over surprise gun rights support following Minnesota shooting

Co-hosts of ‘The View’ have found themselves surprisingly defending the Second Amendment following the second fatal shooting in Minnesota.
The show’s co-hosts discussed the recent shooting of Alex Pretti, who was shot and killed by a Border Patrol agent.
The panel also discussed Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s response to the tragic incident, who criticised Pretti for taking a gun to a protest.
The Minneapolis nurse did bring a gun to a protest, but appeared to be disarmed by agents before his death.
“I don’t know of any peaceful protester that shows up with a gun and ammunition rather than a sign,” Noem said.
Whoopi Goldberg responded to Noem’s claim, slamming the DHS secretary and other officials for allegedly lying about the nature of Pretti’s death.
“I think your point is extremely important because we see now that the government lies to the American people, and they also flout the Second Amendment and Minnesota law,” Sunny Hostin said.
