Bowen called out for ‘fibbing a bit’ by claiming EVs have ‘outstripped’ sales of petrol cars

Sky News host Chris Kenny slams Energy Minister Chris Bowen for his “conflicting information” about electric vehicles.
“I’ve seen him also on Instagram very recently say EV and hybrid cars have outstripped the sales of petrol and diesel cars,” Mr Kenny said.
“That he’s winning this push for electric vehicles in the country.
“It’s not the case … the stats show otherwise.
“He roped in the hybrids with the EVs; he may as well chuck in the diesel and petrol engines too.”
