‘Haters of Israel’ to disguise antisemitism as ‘opposition to Israel’ under hate speech laws

Sky News host Peta Credlin analyses how “haters of Israel” will likely be able to continue and disguise antisemitism as “opposition to Israel”.
“A letter from the Attorney General Michelle Rowland, she has written to the Australian National Imams Council President Shadi Alsuleiman to say the new hate speech laws won’t, ‘prevent legitimate nonviolent criticism of the actions of a foreign country or of particular political ideologies’,” Ms Credlin said.
“You don’t need to read between those lines too hard to see she is referring there to Israel.”
