Trump’s tough stance on illegal immigration has been ‘overshadowed’ by the Minnesota crisis

The Australian columnist Tom Switzer says US President Donald Trump’s achievements on securing the southern border have been “overshadowed” by the unfolding crisis in Minnesota.
“He [Donald Trump] has a good story to tell in the sense that he has secured the southern border, he has been tough on illegal immigration,” Mr Switzer told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“He has fixed the mess that his predecessor, Joe Biden, bequeathed to him at the beginning of last year, and that story is not really getting told, in part because it’s been overshadowed by this crisis.”
