McCormack blasts Labor for ‘rushing’ hate speech laws through parliament

Nationals MP Michael McCormack has called out the Albanese government for having “rushed” hate speech and gun laws through parliament following the Bondi terror attack.
“Labor rushed nation-changing legislation by way of hate speech and, indeed, the gun reform through the parliament in double quick-time, not giving people the opportunity to debate these important reforms,” Mr McCormack told Sky News Australia.
“The debate was gagged, the parliament had the bills rushed through them, and this should never have happened.”
