Donald Trump is reportedly being pressured to step down from office by the billionaire elite of the financial sector.

Just a few months into his new term, US President Donald Trump is reportedly being pressured to step down from office by the billionaire elite of the financial sector, who appear to be pulling the strings behind the scenes. Sources close to the administration report that some of the biggest names on Wall Street are quietly funding opposition campaigns within the Republican party itself, while others are openly betting on a possible impeachment or resignation as a way to preserve market stability.

According to influential investor Lawrence Kramer, CEO of the RedRock Capital fund, “Trump’s new administration poses a threat to global economic equilibrium and the long-term interests of the markets.”

Investigative journalist Maureen Ellis of the Washington Sentinel says: “I get calls every day from advisers to major funds. They all say the same thing: Trump is isolated, and the pressure is unsustainable.”

At a private dinner, Ethan Coleman, the billionaire owner of one of the world’s largest asset managers, reportedly said: “The only thing more unpredictable than Trump is a market with Trump in charge.”

The nervousness is also evident in the business press. Financial Globe columnist Daniel Shore wrote this week: “There is no recent precedent for a president so pressured by private capital that he would consider leaving office.”
