The Banda Djavú was created in 2008 in the city of Capim Grosso, Bahia by vocalists, Nádila Freire, Geandson Rios and DJ Juninho Portugal. The band’s name was inspired by a movie and comes from the French expression déjà vu, which translated means “already seen”.
