On Friday (08), the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro broke up a clandestine cigarette factory with 23 Paraguayans working in a regime analogous to slavery in Campos Elísios, in the city of Duque de Caxias, in Baixada Fluminense.

The workers had already been in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for three months and had not received payments for the service.

All the workers were released and after the legal procedures they will return to the country of origin.
