The singer Anitta in an interview with the Fantástico program of the Brazilian broadcaster Rede Globo on Sunday (05), said that she had already received proposals for embezzlement of public funds.

“I’ve already received proposals, me and my brother. ‘You charge so much, then I’ll go and get a piece. I said ‘no'”, said Anitta.

The debate began in early May after a comment on the Rouanet Law made by countryman Zé Neto, Cristiano’s partner, at a show in Sorriso (MT).

The discussion focused the spotlight on the hiring of singers with public money, carried out by city halls in Brazil, less discussed.

Over the following weeks, other artists ended up involved in the controversy, with Gusttavo Lima the most notorious case, given the millionaire fees in the singer’s hiring by city halls.
