President Donald Trump celebrates suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s show: ‘Excellent news for America’.
President Donald Trump celebrated the suspension of talk show host Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday, September 17, after Kimmel was criticized by Republicans for linking the suspect in the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk to the MAGA movement. “New lows were reached over the weekend, with the MAGA gang desperately trying to portray the young man who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything but one of their own, and doing everything they can to capitalize politically”, Kimmel said on his show. Kimmel also commented on Trump administration officials who are placing liberal and left-wing organizations and movements under scrutiny, a campaign critics call a threat to American civil liberties.

“Great news for the United States: The Jimmy Kimmel Show, criticized for its low ratings, has been CANCELED. Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what needed to be done. Kimmel has NO talent whatsoever”, Donald Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.
The Jimmy Kimmel show will be off the air indefinitely, ABC announced on Wednesday. Host Jimmy Kimmel claims that right-wing groups are trying to politically exploit the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, a key ally of Donald Trump, who was killed on September 10 while debating students at a Utah university. The suspect in the murder, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, turned himself in to authorities the following day and was charged this week with first-degree murder.
