The decision was announced on Monday (03), by the American press. The decision came after the discussion on Friday (28), between Donald Trump, J.D. Vance and Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office of the White House.

The expectation is that the military suspension will last until Volodymyr Zelensky commits to the peace agreement. He needs to finally close it with Russia. He also needs to close the agreement with the United States for the exploration of rare earth minerals in Ukraine.
