The information about the disappearance was confirmed by the editor of the English newspaper, Jonathan Watts, and by the Coordination of the Univaja Indigenous Organization, this Monday (06).

The duo roamed the forest with the aim of consolidating joint work between riverside people and indigenous people, in the surveillance of the territory affected by the intense invasions of gold miners and illegal deforestation.

In a publication on Twitter, the editor of the British newspaper cited death threats against the indigenist, registered a few hours before the disappearance.
