J.D. Vance stated that Donald Trump is considering the use of the military in the United States.
Vice President J.D. Vance stated on Sunday that President Donald Trump has not ruled out using the Insurrection Act of 1807 to authorize the use of the military in the United States. The statement was made during an interview on NBC News’ “Meet the Press.” When asked about the issue by host Kristen Welker, J.D. Vance responded that “the president is looking at all options.” He added: “At this point, he hasn’t felt the need to do so.”

In the interview, Vance stated that the central issue is not the application of the Insurrection Act, but the hostility toward law enforcement in the country. “The issue here isn’t the Insurrection Act or whether or not we invoke it. The issue is that the entire media in this country, encouraged by a few lunatics on the far left, has made it acceptable to attack American law enforcement,” the vice president said.
While official data shows a drop in crime rates in cities like Chicago and Portland, J.D. Vance accused local governments of manipulating statistics without providing evidence. “The president just wants people to be safe, and we’re exploring everything we can do to ensure Americans are safe in their own country,” he added.

commentThat is the same Trump that has been begging for the Nobel Peace prize?
commentTrump’s obsession isn’t about peace, it’s about ego. He’s desperate to outdo Obama, but he’ll never measure up.
