The Traffic Police says some one in five lorries in Singapore that require speed limiters still do not have them with just 12 days to go before the deadline. Some workshops are seeing up to three times as many requests to install the devices in time. Come Jan 1, heavier lorries registered before 2018 will be banned from roads if they do not have the safety measure installed. Their owners may also face a fine of up to S$10,000, up 10 times from the current maximum penalty. Muhammad Bahajjaj with more.
