Malaysia’s former prime minister Najib Razak has been sentenced to a further 15 years in jail and a fine of US$2.8 billion for abuse of power and money laundering. The verdict came on Dec 26 in the biggest trial in relation to the multibillion-dollar 1MDB scandal. Melissa Goh reports.
