Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has unveiled a gun buyback scheme as part of a larger crackdown on firearms following the Bondi terror attack.
It is the largest gun initiative since the Port Arthur massacre.
The scheme will allow gun owners to receive cash for surrendering surplus, newly banned, or illegal firearms, amid concerns about gun ownership in urban areas.
With over four million firearms in Australia, the government emphasises the need for stricter gun control and has called for states to manage the buyback process.
