Heroes of the Bondi terror attack will be honoured with special recognition in the new year.
Israel’s President Isaac Herzog will also pay his respects during his visit to Australia in the coming weeks.
Similar lists have previously recognised heroism related to the Bali bombings and the MH17 disaster.
