After Chris Evans’ Captain America gave his shield to Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson in ‘Avengers: Endgame in 2019’, he is officially set to return as Steve Rogers in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ in 2026. In the beginning of the trailer released Dec. 23 for the new Marvel film, Steve is seen sporting a wedding band and cradling a baby—a scene parallel to Chris’ real life, as he and wife Alba Baptista welcomed a baby girl in October. Chris faked fans out earlier this year, when he claimed he was “sad” to be missing the fun that came along with filming the upcoming Marvel movie alongside Anthony, Sebastian Stan, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and more.
