Christmas is set to be a scorcher for much of Western Australia.
The state could experience temperatures in the high 30s and early 40s.
41 degrees would be the hottest Christmas Day since 2021.
Heatwave conditions are active in the north and south of the state, while authorities are encouraging residents to have a bushfire plan in place.
