A tropical low is threatening to strengthen into a cyclone in northern Queensland, putting flood-affected areas at further risk.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will visit flood-affected communities in North West Queensland today.
The Queensland Department of Primary Industries estimates that over 16,000 animals are missing or dead.
