The 2025 International Forum on Mutual Learning among Civilizations kicked off Tuesday in China’s Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), featuring more than 20 thematic and academic exchange sessions.
O Lam, secretary for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao SAR government, highlighted the city’s unique role as a bridge between East and West. With nearly 500 years of history, Macao demonstrates that cooperation and harmony, rather than zero-sum competition, pave the way for civilization.
