Neighbors couldn’t believe a shooting that injured a 16-year-old boy on Saturday night could happen in their usually quiet community. Police said 21‑year‑old Rael Sanchez took off in a truck after the shooting and was arrested hours later by Phoenix police in an unrelated incident. Neighbors and teens who heard the gunshot describe the fear of seeing violence so close to home as detectives work to learn what led up to the attack. Micaela Marshall has more.
