A suitcase robbery inside a lift at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal Three multi-storey car park escalated into a pepper spray attack, injuring 21 people including a three-year-old girl. Armed police swarmed the area and arrested a 31-year-old man within nine minutes, while his associates remained on the run. Police ruled out terrorism, stating those involved were known to each other and an argument had spiralled into violence.
