A reporter on the ground highlights that ‘Delhi Police is in action mode for the New Year Eve,’ with strict checks in place for drunk driving and stunt biking. Beyond the capital, the festive spirit is palpable nationwide, from the party beaches of Goa and the packed clubs of Mumbai to the snowy hills of Manali and the spiritual ghats of Varanasi. Authorities remain on high alert to ensure a safe and joyous transition into the New Year.
