Indonesia is tightening enforcement of its ban on imports of second-hand clothing. These garments are at the heart of a trade known as thrifting, a popular practice of buying pre-owned clothes at low prices. While the crackdown aims to protect the local textile industry, many worry it could drive up the cost of living and threaten livelihoods. CNA’s Randy Mulyanto reports.
