Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

A Koolewong resident describes their narrow escape from weekend bushfires that destroyed more than a dozen homes in the area. The fire came within three metres of their house and one metre from their children’s play area, with only 118 homes surviving in the affected area. The resident expresses gratitude to firefighters and survivor’s guilt while retrieving belongings during the two-week evacuation period.
