A Caisse Alliance financial advisor, drawing on her own past, launched Canada’s only program helping intimate partner violence survivors regain financial independence. Joanne Ferland’s LIFE program offers free, private banking and budgeting aid. It has enrolled 12 survivors since starting last year. Eric Taschner has more.
