Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

US President Donald #Trump confirmed that the United States launched "a large scale strike against #Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro" on Saturday. The campaign targeted both military and civilian sites across at least four Venezuelan states, including Greater Caracas. Trump said Maduro and his wife had been captured and flown out of Venezuela.
Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez said the country will prevail after what he described as a US military attack in the early hours of January 3. In a statement addressed to the nation, he called on the armed forces and the Venezuelan people to stand firm in defense of national sovereignty, vowing that dignity and justice are on Venezuela’s side.
