Governor Katie Hobbs joined FOX 10 Talks on Dec. 23, where she discussed several topics, including $642 million worth of medical debt has been erased for Arizonans as part of the "Undue Medical Debt" plan.
On Dec. 22, Hobbs announced another 140,000 residents will have their medical debt erased through the relief effort.
Hobbs announced in July that about 350,000 Arizonans got their medical bills wiped out.
The initiative is a partnership with a national non-profit that buys debt from hospitals and collection agencies for pennies on the dollar and cancels it, giving families a fresh start.
