Travel agencies are seeing more people spending the year-end festive season in far-flung places. In some cases, they are trading winter wonderland getaways for animals in the wild. Industry players said this is partly because the COVID-19 pandemic showed that travel was a privilege that could be lost, making travellers bring forward their bucket-list destinations.
