Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

Renowned NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina Gusso and two children—Ryder, 5, and Emma, 14—died on Dec. 18 when a private plane they were in crashed in Statesville, North Carolina. Congressman Richard Hudson confirmed the news on X, writing, “I am devastated by the loss of Greg, Cristina, and their children, and my heart is with all who loved them. They were friends who lived their lives focused on helping others.” He added, “Our prayers are with their family, friends, and everyone grieving this unimaginable loss.” The Federal Aviation Administration, who confirmed the crash to NBC affiliate WCNC, is still investigating the exact cause.
