Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu believes the Australian government’s recognition of Palestine as a state was an act of rewarding Hamas for killing Jews.
“Governments that recognised and called for a Palestinian state basically rewarded Hamas and rewarded the savage murder of Jews,” Mr Netanyahu said to Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“The message that was heard by this action was kill Jews; you’ll get rewarded.
“There is time for action now.”
