Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that testing and certification of the Vande Bharat sleeper train are complete. The first route is planned between Guwahati and Kolkata. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the first sleeper Vande Bharat train in the coming days. He called it a major milestone and said the train will offer world-class facilities, better safety, and a modern overnight travel experience for long-distance passengers.
