Romy Reiner and Jake Reiner spoke out following the tragic deaths of their parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner. In a heartfelt statement shared with NBC News on Dec. 17, the siblings described the “unimaginable pain” they are experiencing after the devastating loss of their mother and father, calling them not only their parents, but their “best friends.” The statement was released the same day their brother, Nick Reiner, made his first court appearance in Los Angeles. During the hearing, according to MS NOW, the 32-year-old and his legal team did not enter a plea regarding his charges of two counts of first-degree murder, which include special circumstances of multiple murder and use of a deadly weapon.
