Christmas is officially a week away, and Santa took time out of his busy schedule to fly into Tusayan by helicopter to greet children who attend Grand Canyon Elementary School.
Santa and Mrs. Claus touched down in Tusayan on Thursday afternoon for a 50-year tradition.
Every year, he arrives by helicopter and greets students from the elementary school at the Grand Canyon, from pre-K through second grade.
