Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

A man in his 80’s died after a blaze at Forestview Retirement Residence on Finch Avenue West, near Bathurst Street on Sunday night. Rebecca Sosa has died after a blaze broke out at their home, while her husband Amadeo (Deo) Sosa is still in hospital. The fire broke out on Dec. 23 in the early morning hours. Police have arrested and charged 26-year-old Jaiden Brett-Hughes and 31-year-old Tandaeka Frazer after a 32-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Brampton last week. Siobhan Morris sat down with Marit Stiles to review how this year has been for Ontario.
