This led her to embark on a remarkable artistic journey, listening to children and amplifying their voices through a musical about them and created by them. Over the next two decades, free from conventional limits, young performers were encouraged to express their true selves and participate in the creative process, while Zhang ensured that every interaction carried warmth and depth. The piece has since toured schools across the country, even reaching remote mountain regions. It has become a platform for countless children to share their innermost thoughts. With unwavering passion and dedication, Zhang Chenting has amplified the authentic voices of China’s new generation, allowing them to be heard far and wide.
