Sydney Harbour’s New Year’s Eve fireworks display welcomed 2026 with spectacular pyrotechnics viewed from prime vantage points. The event featured a moving minute of silence commemorating the Bondi tragedy, followed by elaborate fireworks displays at 9pm and midnight. Attendees from across Australia and international visitors including families from Sweden, India and Poland gathered to witness the iconic harbour celebration, with many securing coveted ballot tickets for premium viewing positions.
