Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

Taiwan police have stepped up security checks at transport hubs, after a knife-wielding attacker killed three people on Friday (Dec 19). A 27-year-old man with a criminal record has been identified as the suspect. He three smoke bombs at Taipei Main Station before running to a nearby subway station, attacking people on the way. The suspect died in a police chase.
Authorities reported he had multiple outstanding warrants and was involved in violent incidents prior to the attack, which left several injured. https://cna.asia/491OQDg
