NSW Premier Chris Minns states the government “couldn’t wait, this was urgent" for the updated gun and protest reforms, as the legislation passes on Christmas Eve.
“The number of firearms, that provision will be in place as of this afternoon,” Mr Minns said.
“As will the extinguishment of the appeals through the administrative decisions tribunal.
“The protest law reforms, they’ll be in place almost immediately."
