Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is again at the centre of a controversy after videos went viral showing students allegedly raising provocative slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. The incident happened on January 5 after the Supreme Court denied bail to former JNU students Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam in the 2020 Delhi riots conspiracy case.
