In a rare evening address from the White House on Wednesday (Dec 17), United States President Donald Trump boasted of his accomplishments and blamed his Democratic predecessor Joe Biden for soaring consumer prices. It comes as Trump’s Democratic party braces for a tough midterm election next year, and as Americans face cost-of-living concerns. He also announced a US$1,776 “warrior dividend” payment to each US military service member.
